You are Wonderful

I am off the rest of the year and I don't have to go back to work until January 2nd! I am so excited. I started a new position in October with a company that is very generous with employee benefits. So I have some extra time to get things done and even play a little in the craft room...

This card and post is for SUNDAY STAMPS and the new color challenge up on the blog. LOVE the colors but had a little "challenge" with them myself! ;) I made my card while looking at the colors on my tablet. When I posted the card for the design team I used my computer and noticed the colors looked a little stronger than the ones I chose :0 Oh well...this is my interpretation of the colors lol...

I recieved this Rooted in Nature set for Christmas along with the Stamperatus! -Yay! Looking forward to playing with my goodies while I'm off a few days.

Thanks for stopping by and checking things out. Please stop back again sometime.

Merry Christmas for SUNDAY STAMPS

Hello and welcome. I hope you are enjoying the festivies of the holiday season!  Shopping, parties and all the beautiful Christmas lights and decorations.

This posting is for the new challenge over at SUNDAY STAMPS! It's a great sketch by our own Heather....check it out below :

Here is my card:

I am having such a time photographing  my cards. I usually  like to go outside and use natural light, but with it getting dark so early,  if I don't do it on my off weekend I'm bringing it with me everywhere  trying to get a good shot...lol. Think I'm going to ask for a light box for Christmas then I don't have to worry about time, weather or season!

Thanks again for stopping by and taking a look. I am excited to see your creations  in the SSC gallery....

Merry Christmas to you and yours ,

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Hello and welcome today!
I am posting this card for the new FRESHLY MADE SKETCHES #366 challenge. Love the fun sketch, and wanted to play along...

Here is the sketch:

A lot of times I will vary a little from the focal shape and go in another direction. But, when I saw the "triangle tree", I knew I'd keep and design around the tree.

Green and Gold. That's all. But I think it's enough. I used the tree from an older STAMPIN UP set and the sentiment from Merry Patterns from last year.  I only bought one new holiday set this year. I told myself  I was going to use the sets I bought last year and didn't use!

Thanks for stopping by. Please come back again soon...

JOY TO THE WORLD

Hi and welcome...

This post is for the SUNDAY STAMPS new color challenge over on the blog. The colors are so pretty and I was excited to make a card with them but then I didn't know which combo to use! I made a couple of cards with different color combinations and ended up selecting the one with the softer colors for the focal and a  stronger color background....See the color inspiration photo below:

For my card I used several different stamp/die sets. I love combing different sets for projects and having the overall look flow as if they all were part of the same set. I used: Buffalo Background, Wishing You Well, Hearts Come Home & Garden Scene Framelits all by Stampin up!  Colors I used are Powder Pink, Tranquil Tide & Granite Gray(for the dove) all SU!. Also, I had a very busy week and couldn't photograph my card at home with my tablet like I normally do and with it getting darker I had to take my card and background to work and take a picture on the ground in the parking lot with my phone 😂 But, I don't think they came out bad at all!!

Hope you join us for this color challenge at SUNDAY STAMPS and looking forward to seeing what you create! Stop by the other Design Team blogs and check out their pretties...

*******Prayers and Well Wishes for those in Alaska who went through the earthquake this past week....including our own Lisa*******
