For TSOT Challenge # 676

Hello! I'm glad you stopped by to check out my DT project for the new challenge over at  Try A Sketch on Tuesday .  See the image below...

I used wood look paper to give the texture like the inspiration image. I gave that a vintage look with a few stamped images of foliage branches and scrolly handwriting. I decided on a butterfly for my main image but I didn't want to color it in by hand so, I stamped the image on a piece of floral DSP and I love the look. I bumped that up with a little foam tape for dimension. All the products I used are from Creative Worship Stamps

A few shiny gold discs and this card ready to be given to someone very special in a few days! Thanks for stopping by. I hope you will decide to join in for sketch challenge #676. See you in the gallery!

Bye for now...

Melissa

  3. Beautiful, Melissa! The woodgrain background is superb with the stamped greenery and scrolled handwriting. Your butterfly is truly elegant and the sentiment works perfectly.
