Happy Birthday for Sunday Stamps Challenge 322

Happy Sunday everybody and welcome! This card is for the new sketch challenge at SUNDAY STAMPS! The sketch is by our very talented Annette. See the inspiration below...

And here is my card...

I have been really getting into stitching die cut images and this new one from Spellbinders new November Kit caught my eye and I knew it wouldn't disappoint. This is the smallest of the two floral dies that come with the kit. It does have leaves that can be stitched or left without floss and you have a beautiful punched design but, adding the embroidery floss to me just finishes it off! I shaded the stem and l leaves so the flower bloom is what is the focal in the layout of the sketch in place of the circle.

I also used the new embossing folder from Spellbinders to place the DSP strip and image on top of. The white on white is a clean base for the image.

Thanks for stopping by and remember to checkout the other DT blogs and see what they did with the sketch. Hope to see you in the gallery.
