Hello and welcome to my blog. This card is for the new sketch challenge over at Try A Sketch On Tuesday See the graphic below and we hope you join in with us this challenge!
And here is what I did with the sketch...
What a fun sketch! I was going to do an underwater theme but as I was digging through my stamps, I ran across this oldie but goodie! I was cutting the angle pieces from the sketch, when I remembered, I had some edging dies that resembled clouds and that's when the card really started coming together. First I did single clouds but that seemed very flat so...you guessed it, cut smaller ones and applied them to the main cloud borders. The plane was stamped in a warm melon color and set among the clouds and fun uplifting sentiment.
I didn't add any embellishments or any other touches. I wanted the billowy clouds to stand out.
Thanks so much for stopping buy and checking out my card for the challenge and I hope to see you in the gallery. Bye for now!
Melissa
