Color Challenge for Sunday Stamps!

Hello and welcome! It's time for a new challenge over at the Sunday Stamps Blog. This round it's a color challenge. See the pretty graphic below...

And here is how I used the challenge colors...

Since the challenge colors are so bold, I wanted to keep the card design simple and with the holly image being so simple, I colored the image in a blurred smeary imperfect kind of look. I then used the brighter almost aqua blue and color blended and splattered the bottom right side of the card front to place the image. I think it's a good balance of the two looks!

I blended a little gray around the whole card front so it pooped off the card base and layered a few thinner pieces of cardstock instead of foam pieces to give dimension. I find with larger pieces if card stock, if you use foam strips or pieces, it can warp over time but with all the scrap cuttings I have, this works best and I use up my scrap!

Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you get a chance to play along with this challenge. Bye for now..
