And here is how I used the sketch...
My husband laughed, again, when I showed him the sketch, then my card!😆 He said of course you had creative liberty! BUT, I can't help myself. I look at a sketch and my mind just starts to dreaming up LOTS of different ways to use it and this one was no different! I love this set with the mushrooms from Creative Worship Stamps instead of the hexagons of the sketch. I water colored, splattered and aged the background before I placed all the pretties of the Vintage Nature Elements Stamp Set.
A few enamel dots and a sentiment and my card ids done!!

Yes, you do always think out of the box for your inspiration of a sketch, but always have some similarity... love the mushroom theme. Beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Melissa! Yes, most appreciate artistic license when it's as creative as this card. The mushrooms seem to dance across the card. Gorgeous coloring and great texture; I love that you used Kraft-type paper.
