Hi. This post is for a Slimline card which is our focus for the next challenge over on the SUNDAY STAMPS blog. I love the fun shape of a SL card and the space it gives to create a little scene or be able to use larger font stamps and/or dies. Below is the graphic for the card. You can use a legal size envelope or buy envelopes at a craft door made for Slimline cards.

The challenge will end on Friday April 16th @ 6pm EST.
For the envelopes I have, my card measures 3 3/4" x 9". I did put this one in a regular legal size envelope because I needed the room with the layered flowers. I used the new Playful Alphabets from SU for the lettering and I am really liking them. I like the size and the boxy font; I feel you can get more wording on card fronts.
I layered the Strawberry blossoms to give them more depth. I am happy with the card overall but I have the urge to start layering images and dies more. I look at the card and see where I could have layered more but again, I am pretty happy with the results.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you will join us with this Slimline change and we will see your creation in the gallery.
HAPPY EASTER!
Melissa
This is fabulous! I love the big, beautiful strawberries and flowers and the pretty DSP. This card makes me smile!
