Hello, Happy Tuesday and Welcome! This post is for the new sketch challenge over on the Try a Sketch on Tuesday blog. See the inspiration sketch below...
And here is my interpretation...
I changed a few things up but overall, it's pretty close. I make cards to sell at local flower shop for Valentine's Day and I'm a little behind getting cards to them so I'm going to be kicking out some this weekend!
This is a straight forward Red & White VD card and will be perfect to add to my stash for the shop. I hope you will join in with us so we can see what you did with the sketch! Be sure to checkout the other DT cards and get inspired!! Take care!

Very pretty with the split coloured heart - great work :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty Valentine's card! Love the embossed background and how the heart is sectioned off in red and white, which really makes the sentiment pop! :)
ReplyDeleteLove that you replaced the circle with an embossed heart with the bold sentiment, nice interpretation of the sketch. Fun Valentine card. Melissa, we had trouble with your link, let me know if you need any help in providing the direct link.
ReplyDeleteFantastic way to use that heart and to carry the tiny heart embossing through it all. Very pretty and fun.
ReplyDeleteWonderful CAS take on this sketch. Love the small heart embossing folder - it adds just the right amount of texture and interest to this card.
ReplyDeleteLovely card, Melissa! Using that embossing folder was a great touch. Adding the white strip to the enter of the heart was a clever design element as well. - Melanie R.
